Position Overview:
Leadership opportunity is calling for you in Glens Falls Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU)!
We’re seeking a strategic, forward thinking and motivated Registered Nurse to join us as a Clinical Nurse Manager! This opportunity will open a pathway for you to hone your skills in operational management and allow you to play key role in bolstering the continuous improvement effort in the ICU and throughout the organization. If you are looking to make a positive impact on patients’ lives while supporting the success of a team of Managers, RNs and Patient Service staff, this role is for you!
In this role, you will provide clinical and operational leadership of the ICU, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care within an environment that fosters staff growth and satisfaction. This will include the management of human, material and fiscal resources.

Requirements:
* Current NYS Registered Nurse license
* Graduation from a Registered Professional Nursing program
* BSN required; MSN preferred
* At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience, 5 years preferred
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications
* Certification in nurse leadership preferred; required within 2 years of eligibility
* Working knowledge of regulatory and DNV requirements
* Basic understanding of performance improvement principles and the use of data
* Effective communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
* PC proficiency
