Seeking participants for a multisite research study

Posted over 4 years ago

The NYONEL Nursing Research Committee is partnering with The Capital District Nursing Research Alliance, Inc. in a multisite research study examining the leadership characteristics of Magnet verse non-nurse managers. This study is a replication of the Fischer and Nichols’ study published in May 2019. The focus of the study is to test the hypothesis that frontline nurse manager (NM) transformational leadership practices are associated with achieving quality patient outcomes at the unit level. It will seek to describe NM leadership characteristics on 5 dimensions as measured by the Leadership Practices Inventory and relate these to patient care outcomes as measured by 4 NDNQI adult patient care outcomes.

If your facility is interested in more information regarding participating in this study, please have the appropriate hospital nursing representative contact one of the following co-PIs of this project.
