Last Call to participate in CNO/CNE Organizational EBP Attributes study
Posted over 3 years ago
If you are a CNO or a CNE and you have not had an opportunity to participate in this study, please do so today. The survey will close on Monday, February 28th. Participation makes you eligible for fabulous prizes (see below)! We encourage NYONEL members to participate.
As a reminder, this is a survey about CNO/CNE & Organizational Evidence-based Practice (EBP) attributes and their relationship to patient/nurse outcomes in hospitals throughout the U.S. The primary purpose of this descriptive study is to describe the organizational culture, structure, personnel, resources, and budget devoted to evidence-based practice and the relationships to patient outcomes using national outcome measures (NDNQI, Core Measures, HCAHPS). The secondary purpose is to describe what organizational supports are in place to promote nurse/clinician health and well-being and their relationships to patient and nurse outcomes.
This survey was developed by The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing.
This online survey has five main sections that include demographic questions, organization-related questions, performance metrics questions (NDNQI, Core Measures & HCAHPS), EBP-related questions and nurse/clinician health and well-being questions.
If you choose to participate in the study, you will be eligible to enter a drawing for one of three (3) $100.00 gift cards or for one table of 8 participants to attend one of our 5-day educational EBP immersion program offerings (a value of $10,000) offered by the Fuld Institute for EBP. The odds of winning are 1 in 500 but could be greater depending on the survey response rate and gift-card drawing participation.
