Nurses House Announces Annual Dolphins for Nurses Campaign - providing funds for nurses in need

(March 10, 2022) - Nurses House, Inc. is pleased to announce plans to launch its sixteenth annual “Dolphins for Nurses” campaign to raise funds for nurses in need throughout the United States. The campaign, sponsored by Davin Healthcare Workforce Solutions, will run from April 12-May 12, culminating in National Nurses Week. The campaign involves nursing groups and hospitals nationwide hosting Nurses Week fundraisers by offering white, gold and blue dolphins in exchange for $1, $5 or $10 donations. All proceeds from the campaign will go to the Nurses House Service Program to benefit nurses facing serious health issues and other dire circumstances.

Nurses House, Inc. is the only national 501(c)3 organization offering financial assistance to registered nurses in need. The organization’s main goal is to provide short-term aid to nurses who are unable to support themselves financially as a result of illness, injury, disability, or catastrophic event. The organization is run by an Executive Director and volunteer Board of Directors. Funds come from donations by nurses, nursing organizations, friends of nurses and through various annual fundraising activities. Since its inception, Nurses House has helped thousands of nurses in all fifty states regain health and productivity. Last year alone, Nurses House provided over $500,000 in direct aid to RNs in need. This year’s Nurses Week campaign is sponsored by Davin Healthcare Workforce Solutions.
