IMPORTANT! Member Vote Needed - Bylaws Change

Dear NYONEL Member:
The NYONEL Bylaws Committee and the Board of Directors have approved the addition of an officer position: Treasurer-Elect. This step is being taken because of increasing business operations complexities, and the effects of the pandemic that have made fiscal management more challenging. The Board believes it is prudent for the current Treasurer, Noreen Brennan to mentor a successor to ensure he or she has sufficient preparation to assume fiscal oversight of NYONEL. This is intended to continue into the future.
Addition of this officer position requires a bylaws amendment. So we are seeking the required approval from FULL, HONORARY, and RETIRED members by an electronic vote. The intent is to elect the new officer this summer.
