Dear NYONL Members,
In September, on the recommendation of the Boad of Directors, NYONL members voted in favor of a modest dues increase. The decision did not come lightly and imperative was based on continually rising business expenses, static membership levels, resulting in two consecutive years’ poor financial performance.
Effective Monday, December 18th, one-year dues for Full, Affiliate, and International members will increase from $175 to $195. One-year dues for Retired and Student members will increase from $87.50 to $97.50. Two-year dues will be $365: $190 for the first year and $170 for year #2.
Full and Retired members who renew annually, are able to avoid the dues increase if they currently have, or opt into auto-renewal. There is no auto-renewal option for the other membership tiers or for two-year memberships.
This table illustrates the impact of increases on each membership tier.
If you are currently a full or retired member with auto-renewal there will be no change in your dues or renewal process. If you are currently a non-auto-renewing full or retired member and wish to opt into auto renewal you may indicate that at the time of renewal and you will be charged the current one-year rate.
Members at all other membership tiers will be billed at the higher rate when renewing.
We appreciate your understanding of this imperative. We will continue to do our best to bring value to your membership. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to Contact Us: https://nyonl.nursingnetwork.com/contact
Sincerely,
Kate Valcin, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CNL, CCRN, FCCM
